Archenemy GF does not enjoy answering the door for all the cute little kiddies on Halloween. It’s not that she doesn’t like the cute little kiddies - she does - but doesn’t like the prospect of repeated interruptions to her dinner, consumption of HGTV shows, and other oh-so-important things. And she particularly doesn’t enjoy having to deal with Mr. Barky, who goes crazy whenever the VC get inside the wire someone rings the doorbell. Last year, she made the mistake of making me deal with all the kids. Why was that a mistake? It means that this year, she has to deal with all the kids. I’m sure it seemed like a good idea at the time…

AGF: Did I mention I have to work late tonight?
DFF: Come home by 4:45 PM.
DFF: Or not at all.
