OK, Googled around a little – it has a long history and was owned by Greek immigrant George Papalimberis from the mid-60s until at least 1997. He apparently had a son named Louis.
Nick is more or less our age, so I’m guessing the shop has changed hands?
LaFlamme Barber Shop and Custom Barber Shop are 2 different shops owned by the same person, George Papalimberis. “Nick” is the manager of and runs the Custom Barber shop, while George is at LaFlamme. The shops never changed hands. They are still owned by George.
