Sen. Larry Craig (R-Idaho) was arrested in June at a Minnesota airport by a plainclothes police officer investigating lewd conduct complaints in a men’s public restroom, according to an arrest report obtained by Roll Call Monday afternoon.

A very quick check of Craig’s record on gay issues turns up the fact that he voted in favor of an Idaho Constitutional amendment defining marriage as between a man and a woman, and also voted in favor of last year’s Federal Marriage Amendment doing the same thing.
Anyway, all I really have to say about this brouhaha is that this is a stupid observation. What does his desire for gay sex in public restrooms have to do with how he votes on behalf of his constituents? I mean, if he can shrug and say “Hey, I’m gay, but most of my constituents are against gay marriage so that’s the way I’m going to vote”, he’s a better breed of scumbag than the other 534 busy wrecking the Republic.

I’m sorry, but I could see lewd behavior if he was sticking his dick under the divider or something. This whole “tap 3 times with your foot if you want to blow me” thing is silly.
This is just sad. This guy should get sex like every other senator- pay for it.
