Damn the Swiss!

I spent part of Sunday assembling a new benchtop table saw. The Swiss let me down with the instructions:

Required tools:

  • Tool A
  • Tool B
  • Tool C
  • Tool D

So, I went and collected tools A, B, C, and D.

About half way through, when I’m at a point where somehow I’m managing to hold about six different components with two hands comes the following:

Using Tool X, tighten widget1

Duh!

I recently purchased a tablesaw as well, to be delivered in 3 weeks.

Actually, it’s going to be delivered to Rockler in Cambridge, then I have to figure out how to get it to Arlington.

I have the pickup if you need any help.
Given the size and multi-use requirements of my workspace, I chose mobility over capability. Plus what I’ll use it for is in no way, shape or form finished carpentry. ;-)
I’ve read great things about that model.
