Chuck caught Dinosaur Jr in Minneapolis and wrote a nice review, which reminds me I haven’t got their new album yet. I also note that on June 11 (which I think may be the same night SciFi is airing the latest Ghost in the Shell movie? Oh well) they’ll be playing a free show at a store (Urban Outfitters, I think) in Harvard Square. I guess I’ll have to go, since there’s no fun like cramming oneself into a tiny space with a bunch of ten year olds and a bunch of sexagenarians all excited to be out past their bedtimes fun (I was going to link this description to my blog post about seeing the Stooges at Newbury Comics a year or two ago with a crowd matching that description, but apparently I never wrote it).
If any TJICisphereans want to tag along, apparently you need to bring an invite for a chance to get in (first come first serve til the venue fills up). Click above for the actual-size image and print.

Too bad I’ll be in the fatherland.
Its a shame they’re playing at UO- Official Store of Alterna-Posers (TM).
Bummer, man!
