I was a huge Economist fan, especially when i lived in Germany 01-04. Since I came back, their politics became more apparent and more annoying. I thought it was just me getting more radical, but I guess not.
Its a shame- they had a reputation for being even handed, but not any more.
I believe there was a management change fairly recently - and one Samizdata commenter points out that there’s now a woman at the helm. Although I think that likely has less to do with anything than the proverbial changing of the guard - I’d imagine most of our generation has been so thoroughly steeped in PC bullshit that unbiased thought isn’t easy to achieve.
