Just a quick follow up to this post.
Last Sunday I filled out the recall form of Acer’s web site. It told me to that it would take up to five weeks for replacement. That’s five weeks with a laptop with not battery. On Monday I was notified a package shipped, and I got the battery today with prepaid postage to return the old battery. Its nice to have a company exceed expectations once in a while.
