I forget where I read it (one of VDH’s sites, maybe?), but: 160 million Arabs export less, if you discount the oil under their feet, than 3 million Finns do.
Wow.
Given that a little technological progress in the West could make that black muck a lot less valuable, they’d better either start diversifying, or start brushing up on their flint-knapping skills.
UPDATE: edited my horrible prose, to make it more clear I’m not reporting that Arabs are only exporting 2,999,999 Finns.
