		<description>I have had a Rio (no longer with us) Karma MP3 player for 5 years, and its still going strong and a 5gb motorola one I've had for 2 years.  The Karma is compatable with open source formats too.  The karma had pretty good reviews, but the motorola was panned for not being an ipod.  I have a confession- I am the Apple (especially iPod) anti-fanboy.</description>
