Last night I pulled up the wall to wall in my basement, removed the padding, washed everything with a bleach solution, put the rug down and set up fans and an industrial dehumidifier. If all goes well I can save the rug. I think that rug padding can hold more water than its actual volume- it must have something to do with rug industry Tardis technology.
The best part was at around 6pm, the clouds broke, and I swear I heard gregorian chants as the sun came out.
This morning I received an email from the lovely Katarina with the subject “Young, online and nude” Things are looking up. ;-)
