Congratulations on your newly redesigned website! Alas, the top-of-the-page horizontal flash ads are displaying against a white background three times taller than the flash ad itself in my browser (Firefox 1.5.01 on Linux), obscuring the top couple of paragraphs in each article.
Of course, this will force people (not many, I admit, but surely some) to read deeper into them, where one often finds the interesting little details that give lie to the ideological conclusions your social engineers (sorry, that’s a typo - I meant “journalists”) lead with, or skip the article altogether. Either way, the impact of the Wrinkled Old Bag (sorry, that was a typo - I meant “Grey Lady”) is diminished, at least as I imagine the editorial board measures it.
Doesn’t matter to me, but I thought I’d be a sport and mention it.
