While disaffection with Summers has been widespread throughout the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, leaders of several other schools are expressing their admiration for the embattled president.
Wait… there’s more to Harvard than the FAS?

Muslim Man Complaint Box:
this woman was having a talk with guests and things got a bit out of control when the woman host said “no, I don’t think so” to one of the guests. I was so mad I told my wife to drown herself in the bathtub while I finished watching the show. Then, [...]
Cold turkey
Unsubbed from The List yesterday, apparently just in time to miss this. Ah, well.
It’s a little early to recommend it to other “users” who might be worried about withdrawal symptoms - I’ve already started to experience mood swings (though mostly towards a lighthearted optimism), but no shakes or sweats yet. We’ll see how it goes.
Gunpowder treason and plot
V for Vendetta is opening on March 17th, and they’ve got two good trailers up that suggest that the Wachowski brothers have been more true to Moore’s script than we’re used to seeing in comic adaptions for the big screen.
I note that this (presumably hollywood) movie featuring a crazy western terrorist blowing up western gov’t [...]
