He loves the sun - he's a solar powered dog (just before I took those pictures he whined at me until I picked him up and put him on the cushions on the back of the couch - the only spot in the sun). He'll go out in the backyard in the winter just to sit in a tiny patch of sun. He sits on a little pile of decomposing leaves, so his feet and stomach don't get cold, and his hide heats up something fierce. I think maybe he's part polar bear or something. He's not squinting because of the light, but because he heats up and gets drowsy. I have shades!
