Wonderful pictures. The z-dog is a very lucky dog, I think.

You really ought to get him some shades!

I have shades! He loves the sun – he’s a solar powered dog (just before I took those pictures he whined at me until I picked him up and put him on the cushions on the back of the couch – the only spot in the sun). He’ll go out in the backyard in the winter just to sit in a tiny patch of sun. He sits on a little pile of decomposing leaves, so his feet and stomach don’t get cold, and his hide heats up something fierce. I think maybe he’s part polar bear or something. He’s not squinting because of the light, but because he heats up and gets drowsy.

    “he’s a solar powered dog..”

    LOL!

(maybe he is just cold though) :)

No, when he’s not sitting in the sun, he’s burrowed under a pile of blankets. He’s really got it made… ;-)

He’s up there again now… crazy animal.

  8. Tiffany says:

Well, forget the clorophyll—Sunlight gives people(and dogs) extra Vitamin D for strong bones. Maybe he needs either more cheese/milk products with Vit D, or more sunlight to help him heal his hip.

    Too cute! :)

    More cheese?!?? Ye gods! ;-)
