I mean, I almost ran out there in my pajamas, then at the last second (like, about to round the corner of the garage and out into the street) I remembered I might embarrass friends, and that jeans and a tshirt were called for. ;-) Just to be clear, I wasn’t saying you pretended not to know me, I was saying, in case you did see me, that I pretended not to know YOU… for your sakes. It was our rector's last service at our church, and what with the bagpiper, it was all very funeral-like. Linda told me, "I asked him to play Scotland the Brave because I thought it would make me braver!" Yeah, great choice there, Linda. :-) Oh, and that bagpipe was LOUD inside the church... Mr. Bagpiper even gestured to a nearby family with an infant that they might want to move said infant (or put earmuffs on her) before he started playing the recessional. Short answer: probably not.
