It’s not the world’s most in-depth interview, but it was an excuse to use the the phrase “A sea of Dudes” for a blog title.

    Its strange that the DVD is due out October 18 when I bought one over a year ago. Or is this just one with “special” features?

    I imagine so - the interview says

    The Dude still abides in Jeff Bridges, whose 1998 film The Big Lebowski is due on DVD Oct. 18.

    Among the DVD extras is a photo you took of the film-makers kneeling by a toilet. Please explain.

    Does your DVD have features beyond the movie itself?

    Hmmm- I’ll have to check, but I don’t remember any pictures of the film makers kneeling by a toilet. But I must confess the only special crap on DVDs that I have actually watched was on the LOTR and Sin City DVDs.
