More idiotic Arlington exceptionalism

Over on LFA someone posted this howler:

I wonder whether the “population growth” parameters wasn’t what kept Arlington from making the initial screen. The population has declined from a high of 53,500 in 1970 down to the current 43,000-something. So that may have given a false impression of non-growth.

Yeah. How could anyone see a population decline of 25% and still get the ridiculous idea that Arlington was experiencing “non-growth”?

Think of how much more my rent would be our (”our”) houses would have been worth, if only they’d mentioned us! Maybe we should pass another override, to make up for the money that could’ve gone into Schadenfreude’s pocket but didn’t - I mean, that’s practically THEFT!
