Er, who?

You know, because everybody else (”everybody else“) is doing it: Which Science Fiction Writer Are You?

I am:
John Brunner

His best known works are dystopias — vivid realizations of the futures we want to avoid.

Which science fiction writer are you?

I think I’ve heard of him, but I don’t believe I’ve read anything by him. But as it happens, dystopia is my middle name - it just starts with an F in the original Gaelic.

I recommend “Squares of the City”. And … what was that other one?

You should read “The Shockwave Rider” and “Stand on Zanzibar” too.

    Although fuck knows I haven’t.

A former boss told me he thought I was the shock wave rider. I was flattered. Bullshit is the most effective form of flattery.

    Heh.

He looks kind of like a gay Berle Ives.

You mean Burle Ives wasn’t gay?
