Interesting quote from the Globe ’s review of Gunner Palace:
They’re members of the Army’s 2/3 Field Artillery Division, and they’ve moved into the half-destroyed estate of Saddam Hussein’s assassinated son Uday, nicknaming it Gunner Palace.
Hmmmmm- If I remember correctly the two lovely Hussein brothers were shot and killed during a firefight with the US Army while they were resisting capture.
Glad to see the neutrality of the MSM at work. I’m sure the use of a word implying treachery, murder and deceit fits right in to their view of the US Armed Forces.
I would have used the term euthanized…

Yeah - if the Globe is looking for assasinated relatives of Hussein, they don’t have to look any farther than one or two of his sons-in-law, who fled with his daughters to Jordan or some such place, and were lured back with promises of no harm done, and then killed.
