Fuck the AMC. May it rot.
First it builds a fancy hotel/convention center in Crawford Notch — something it would have been bitching to high heaven about and desperately filing lawsuit after lawsuit to stop if any organization other than itself had done it.
And now it’s whining about NH routing a snowmobile trail across part of the hotel/convention center property. Screw them. The AMC is perfectly happy to screw over property owners via regulation (unlike The Nature Conservancy, whose MO is to (god forbid) raise money and buy the land/development rights off the owner at a fair price). About time it gets the fickle finger of state power up their you-know-what. It’s time it gets to feel what it does to others.
Too bad the bastards will probably wriggle off the hook.
