The Miami Dolphins want to hire Louisiana State Univ football coach Nick Saban. He’s interested in being hired by them.
However, the NFL says that teams are required to interview meaningful minority coaching candidates.
But those candidates are all on teams in playoff contention or who have clinched playoff spots.
And the NFL says that teams cannot interview coaches until their teams are eliminated.
And Saban doesn’t want to wait until February to be interviewed.
