Weren’t these guys some of the Unibomber’s targets?

I’m a big fan of capitalism, but I’m sitting here listening to the CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi tell us that he intends to create “loyalty beyond reason” through his ad campaigns. (on Frontline)

And I’m not saying the ol’ Tedster was right to do what he did.

I’m just saying I can understand a little bit where he was coming from.

My favorite ad EVER was for an advertising firm.

It was a picture of a homeless man begging with a sign scrawled on a scrap of cardboard. The sign said “need money for whiskey and a handgun”.

The caption said “Sometimes the old message, delivered in a new way gets attention.”

There was some underwear laundering that evening.
